BOTANICA

To save her job, a plant geneticist working on human food security must travel to the Colombian jungle to retrieve a rare DNA fragment library owned by a missing botanist who, she discovers, has developed an app that translates the chemical language of plants into meaningful communication.

8 X 60 True Crime Dark Comedy.
When a down-on-his-luck disabled man from Blackpool discovers a ‘glitch’ in a cryptocurrency platform he illegally syphons millions becoming a cybercrime Robbin Hood dishing out money to the needy. But the unbridled greed of his gang sends alarm bells across the world. As the authorities close in he and his gang begin to self-destruct, spectacularly turning the UK’s biggest cybercrime heist into a farce.

SITCOM
When radical campaigner and disruptor FLAX (he/him), along with his fellow activist and partner in capitalist crime prevention, BOBS (she/her mostly!), decide to promote their extreme lifestyle online, THE DISRUPTORS is born. From their squat in Mitcham, they hope to grab the attention of the world with their TikTok videos, live streams and podcasts about living outside of 'the system.' Their so-called moneyless manifesto is proving to be as unsustainable as fossil fuels. But now they've gone public, and they must try to stand by their openly expressed but not always entirely well-thought-out ideals.

DEAF SPACE
FEATURE FILM ANTHOLOGY
Commissioned by Makelight Productions as part of their LOVE IS HARD WON feature film anthology. Written as a one-shot film.
A deaf architect student discovers she is pregnant. She wants to keep her baby but is desperate to complete her studies and design buildings with the deaf community in mind. Her boyfriend helps her see that she can have her cake and eat it.
